Ferguson Films co-founder and entrepreneur Connie Ferguson has penned an emotional tribute to her soulmate amid devastating news of his death, on Friday.

This comes just a day after a representative for the Ferguson Foundation, Conrad Mwanza announced that Shona Ferguson had died from Covid-19 related complications at Milpark hospital, on Friday, News24 reported.

In two posts, which Connie shared on Instagram and Facebook on Saturday night, respectively, she said she is struggling to come to terms with loss of her “20 years” soulmate.

“I’m struggling to process everything that’s going on! It feels like a horrible nightmare that I can’t wake from,” Connie wrote adding that she feels like she is living in a twilight zone.

Connie added: “Now, I feel complete off balance (incomplete), without my other half! My soulmate!”

This comes just hours after Connie’s daughter Alicia Ferguson wrote a touching tribute to her beloved dad.

In an Instagram post, Alicia said her father has had worked hard and kept his promises of leaving a legacy for his children.

“Words can not express how I’m feeling right now, you fought your fight (dad) and I’m so proud of you for making it this far,” the post reads.

“Thank you for everything that you’ve done for me my (sic) doppelgänger (German word which means ‘my twin’). I’m going to miss a lot of things, but most importantly, your hugs,” the post adds.

Meanwhile, CEO of Ncwane Communications, Author and Philanthropist, Ayanda Ncwane gave Connie words of wisdom and hope, saying she is with her during this time of mourning.

“The death of your inner self, your world coming to a stand still, your heart tearing up into pieces. Begging him to come back to life, (Ohhh Sisi) (sic) the only thing I wanna (sic) do is to squeeze you sooo (sic) tight and let you screeeeeam (sic) so loud!!!” Ncwane wrote in an Instagram post.

Ever since the devastating news broke, shocking messages and condolences have been pouring by people in different social media platforms. Again, this time tweeps continued giving Ferguson family shoulders to cry on.

In the meantime, Ferguson family has asked for a moment of mourning in private and to date, no details of funeral have been announced.
